Information

This exhibition presented a grouping of works originally organized for the Melbourne Biennale in Australia, 1999, by then independent, Vancouver-based curator Kitty Scott. Including new works by Geoffrey Farmer, Myfanwy MacLeod, and Ron Terada, the exhibition focused on the work of a younger generation of Vancouver artists whose point of references lies in the images and language of television and Hollywood film production.

Kitty Scott, now Curator at the Art Gallery of Ontario presented a slide-talk on her past curatorial work on October 3, 2001. The show traveled to Plug In ICA (Winnipeg, MA) from October 26 to Nov. 24, 2001. As an integral part of the exhibition Ron Terada designed an artist's poster-brochure featuring an introduction by Kitty Scott and essay by Barbara Fischer.
